Dildar Pervaiz Bhatti

Dildar Pervaiz Bhatti ( 30 November 1948 – 30 October 1994) was a leading TV, Radio Punjabi compere and announcer, and a teacher by profession with a Master's in English literature.

He became lecturer of English literature at MAO College Lahore, later growing very famous both as a Punjabi talk show host on PTV and a much in demand emcee.

His TV shows from 1974 to 1994 include: “Takra” in Punjabi Language, “Yadish Bakhair”, "Jawan Fikar", “Mela” and more. He also published books such as Amana Samna, Dildarian and Dilbar Dildar. Dildar was also associated with Imran Khan in fundraising for Shaukat Memorial Hospital at Lahore. After a performance in New York, U.S.A on October 30, 1994, he suffered brain haemorrhage but died of a heart attack.
